Above the western shores of Hemlock Lake stands O-Neh-Da and Eagle Crest Vineyards, one of America’s oldest wineries.
Established in 1872 to make ‘Wine that is wine,’ 100% pure grape wine for sacramental use by the Catholic Church. Today they still hold true to that practice and make sacramental wines for all faiths but have added medal-winning Finger Lakes premium wines for enjoyment with great food. Wines are made in small batches and highlight each vintage’s unique harvest.
Sustainable vineyard practices and careful stewardship of the Earth have guided them since their founding in 1872. As they strive for better stewardship and less dependence on fossil fuels they have installed a solar array to power the original working wine museum with sun power!
Stop in for a visit to taste some of their perfectly balanced wines and take in the beauty of pristine Lake Hemlock.
